On another note – why the hell can’t I see _Children of Men_ anywhere in Arkansas? Will anyone be carrying it soon?

BSR: Excellent question.  The film times for Friday have not yet been released. I was under the impression that it was scheduled for national release on Christmas Day, but apparently that wasn’t so.  Either that, or Little Rock cinema houses passed on it in order to get the most out of Dreamgirls.  Who knows.  At this point, I don’t have the answer.

UPDATE: Yahoo.com is reporting that Breckenridge in Little Rock will show “Children of Men” beginning on Friday.
