8 p.m. CALS Ron Robinson Theater. $10-$15.
In the second stop on her “Help Wanted” tour, the enigmatic Kari Faux returns to her hometown for a show at the CALS Ron Robinson Theater, following the March release of Faux’s second EP, “Cry 4 Help.” The five-track project demonstrates the Little Rock native’s masterful straddling of the blurry line between R&B and rap, and the endlessly playable single “Leave Me Alone” stands out as an introvert’s anthem. The EP also includes a feature with rapper Curren$y on the smooth, night-drive track “In The Air.” Celebrate Memorial Day weekend a few days early by taking Faux’s advice to “put one in the air” at her concert Wednesday evening. Doors open at 7 p.m. for the 8 p.m. show, and tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Tickets available at arkansassounds.org.
