8 p.m. South on Main. $7-$10.
The frenzied, fiery bluegrass virtuosity of the band Runaway Planet is reason enough to get to South on Main Wednesday night, but add to that soundtrack the imagery of Tim West, an acclaimed artist who lived the latter part of his life on 80 acres of land in Winslow (Washington County), secluded from the rest of the world, despite having displayed his work in the likes of the Museum of Modern Art and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. In 2007, a Northwest Arkansas photographer named Diana Michelle Hausam rediscovered West and set about the task of documenting his fascinating life and work. For this installment of the venue’s “Sessions” series,” M2 Gallery present West’s work alongside Hausam’s photography of West.
Tickets are $7 in advance or $10 at the door, and you can call 501-244-9660 to reserve a table.
