Jimmy Buffett & The Coral Reefer Band

Traditionally, Jimmy Buffett’s music has been reserved for a select group of people — those happy few who unironically enjoy island-themed chain restaurants, love singing about cheeseburger toppings, and, at least according to my mom, like to disappear down to Corpus Christi in the middle of the week without telling their families (thanks, Aunt Jan). But I think that if we’re all honest with ourselves, Mr. Buffett’s music is far more universal than we would like to admit.
